Living InJoy

It’s International Happiness Day!

Yes, it does seem they have dedicated a day to recognize everything.

Happiness is…

…one of the great motivators…

…a universal need…

…often fleeting; resulting from external situations.

You may be familiar with the phrase, “happiness is an inside job.”

Look within.  Happiness held at your core is joy.

Joy is…

…a state of being…

…a choice…

…dynamic; requiring attention and intention…

Creating more joy in your life is just a thought away. With that in mind, I have created a FREE ebook, The Secret Formula to InJoy Living, a guide with 28 principles, one for each day.

Here are the words of wisdom you will find on day 3…

Excerpted from: The Secret Formula to InJoy Living

Day Three: Just for today…

“Life is too short to hold grudges,” was one of my daddy’s mantras throughout my childhood and helped to shape my perspective on forgiveness and compassion. Whom do you need to forgive?

Sit or stand with your hands in prayer position at your heart. Really snuggle your hands close against your heart as to engage the mind-body connection. Then, say aloud “(Name of person you would like to forgive, or even yourself), I am sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you.” Repeat until you feel a softening for this person. Usually, a five to ten minute practice is all it takes to feel noticeably better.

These four simple statements are the Hawaiian Code of Forgiveness, otherwise known as Ho’oponopono. They are powerful and they work instantly! Feel for yourself!
